Safe Harbor Phase 2

At the end of May into early June, Ryan, Sarah, Chris, and Levi went to Ohio to start phase two of Safe Harbor (SH). To refresh everyone's memories. In 2023 Eight Days of Hope started building phase one which was three cottages, chapel, school house, and administration building. It now has been a year since Safe Harbor has opened and seven girls have called SH home. Of those seven girls, four have accepted Christ, and one has earned her high school diploma.

During this two week blitz we were able to frame, roof, put up insulation, and start electrical in the new rec center. What the rec center provides to the girls is a place to play sports such as basketball, pickle ball, volleyball, games, and host events. It also gives them a space to play when the weather is not good. In addition to the rec center, work was started in the lower part of cottages #2 and #3.
